Gustavo Lorensi

PhD Applied Math

Welcome!

I'm a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with a deep-seated passion for exploring the complexities of particle transport, radioactive transfer, and reactor physics.

My journey into the nuclear energy universe began during my master's degree in Applied  Mathematics and has since evolved into a fascinating exploration of how applied mathematics intersects with these critical areas. My research efforts earned me a research scholarship from the Brazilian government to study for a year at The Ohio State University, USA.

This website serves as a bridge to my academic world, where you can find more information about my background and research interests, publications, courses and a little about my research.  Whether you're here for scholarly curiosity or potential collaboration, I look forward to connecting and exploring the endless possibilities that mathematics and physics hold.
